George Papandreou's Interview to the Financial Newspaper "Imerisia"
Imerisia, 11 September 2004
"For many months now, the administration has been dragging its feet," noted the President of PASOK. "In fact, for six months now the government has been in hiding. It is not taking initiatives, it is not engaged in policy making. It is governing through silence."
"The biggest problem with New Democracy is that it does not recognise and for this reason it can not manage the economic progress of the past," added Mr. Papandreou. "When you cannot recognise progress, you are unable to meet new challenges. For New Democracy, the honeymoon is over. No more excuses! It is being judged daily by the people and by us for what it does."
